KANTIN is a new-generation specialty coffee shop in Astana, where advanced coffee technology and architecture are brought together within a single contemporary environment. Its concept of Modern Coffee Culture is supported by high-tech brewing equipment, including automated Poursteady technology, alongside nitro coffee and a carefully selected range of specialty lots.

Lenz Architects developed the 106 m² interior around this technological character, creating a clear spatial sequence centered on a sculptural bar with soft rounded geometry. A large luminous ceiling with a subtle orange gradient defines the main zone, while warm metallic surfaces, dark timber slats and restrained furniture establish a precise, tactile material language.

Rather than treating equipment as a secondary technical layer, the project integrates the coffee-making process into the architecture itself. The result is a highly contemporary interior that reflects KANTIN’s technologically driven approach to specialty coffee and gives the brand a distinctive spatial identity in Astana.

Lenz Architects разработала интерьер площадью 106 м² вокруг технологичного характера кофейни. Пространство организовано вокруг скульптурной барной стойки с мягкой геометрией, а крупный световой потолок с оранжевым градиентом формирует главный визуальный акцент. Тёплые металлические поверхности, тёмные деревянные рейки и лаконичная мебель создают точный и тактильный материальный язык.

Технологическое оборудование здесь становится не скрытой технической составляющей, а частью архитектуры и самого опыта приготовления кофе. В результате сформирован современный интерьер, отражающий технологичный подход KANTIN к specialty-культуре и создающий для бренда узнаваемую пространственную идентичность в Астане.
